The walls of homes in these marginalized communities stand as silent witnesses to the struggles and dreams of its people. So, SAATH initiates a narrative of change, “Awasar”, which translates to “Opportunities.”
Through Awasar, SAATH is creating a space for disadvantaged women and girls to write their own destinies through skill building programs that span across six months, a year, or even multiple years.
Yet, Awasar extends beyond these sessions, branching into various projects and the transformative social enterprise, “Danfe Works Enterprises Nepal.” Together, we form a collective force, crafting a sustainable social and economic impact on the lives of those in need.
Today, Awasar echoes as the beacon of change where dreams, once confined, take flight challenging and exploring the boundless potential residing within each individual and community as a whole.

Mithila by Danfe is a celebration of Mithila art at its core and the cultural representation of the Madhesh region in Nepal. We value handmade creations and engage with local artists to support their socio-economic well-being. Every piece is created and curated carefully with a lot of thought and love.

We aim to strengthen Mithila by Danfe as a thriving marketplace and platform for women artisans by enhancing its operational capacity. This includes developing strong branding, expanding outreach, and building strategic partnerships to increase visibility and sales. Additionally, women artisans will receive training in product design, quality control, and business management, ensuring long-term sustainability and economic independence.
Danfe Works Enterprises Nepal actively supports and facilitates the development of the strategy. Given that SAATH is the impact partner for Danfe Works, and Danfe Works acts as the sustainability partner for SAATH, this collaboration runs in parallel throughout this initiative, ensuring a cohesive approach.
