Mr. Bijeysh Ranjit, Director of Development and Administration
We have faced several challenges since the pandemic began in early 2020. Restrictions, Lockdown, and COVID 19 infections had compelled us to modify our work style. It's much more difficult for a growing organization like ours, as we work with limited human and financial resources. Our work has become increasingly stagnant for the last year. Several of our initiatives were suspended during Lockdown, and the energy required to resume and continue them is substantial. The past year and a half have been a continual endeavor to keep the work we undertake afloat. Our primary focus was on ensuring the organization's and programs' long-term viability. We ensured that our employees were safe and that they were working in a stress-free environment while continuing to work. It had not been an easy journey. We've made major adjustments in terms of human resources and operational expenses to ensure our organization's long-term viability. However, the situation does not yet appear to be over yet. We are aware that this situation may persist as the pandemic is not yet over and there is still a long way to go.
Regardless of the pandemic or the hurdles, our partners' and supporters' steadfast support has always been a source of encouragement for us. We'd want to take this time to thank them all for standing with us in the face of such adversity. Our team is enthusiastic, and we've been working hard to make a difference in the areas we serve. We look forward to flourishing and prosper as an organization, and to continue making an impact by reaching out to more and more disadvantaged people. We are excited to forge new alliances, establish new partnerships, reach out to new communities, and continue on our path of growing together and making a difference.
