Newsletter 2024: April Issue

towards sustained livelihood...

Over multiple sets of reflection and brainstorming, our interventions and target areas are getting specific. Every day our pitch is getting stronger and we are confident about moving towards our mission to Foster socio-economic transformation of marginalized women and girls through entrepreneurial and community-driven skills development.

Our approach toward sustained livelihood for women got a kickstart with the beginning of our new framework with ONGD FNEL. Starting April, three sets of training in Master Tailor, Embroidery and Knitting is being facilitated to women willing to invest their time and dedication for their financial independence and stability.
8 women from diverse backgrounds onboarded as participants of the 8 month-long advanced level training.
Opening Ceremony of our 5 year-long framework in presence of stakeholders from both public and private sectors.

Vulnerability due to poverty and social exclusion are most common among people belonging to ethnic minorities. The atrocity based on their background is often translated in their struggle to fulfil the basic needs and inclusivity in this light is blurred.

The 5-year-long project titled, "Social and Economic Strengthening of People with Vulnerabilities” aims at achieving:
Increased and regular income for women pursuing vocational training, and
Increased awareness on SRHR with access to knowledge, information and resources for women with vulnerabilities.
