a quick recap...
This month, workshops was conducted for Mithila artists and project participants from Janakpur. Additionally, a workshop was facilitated by Mithila Artists and Embroidery trainer for 24 students and faculty of the SAISA Art Festival hosted by Lincoln School Nepal. The participants and trainer from Janakpur also attended an Exhibition organized by SAISA at Museum of Nepali Arts.

Four participants from Janakpur, along with their trainer, traveled to Kathmandu to both learn and facilitate sessions. Last week, Mithila artists engaged in an intensive two-day workshop focused on advanced art techniques, color composition, and brushwork, providing them with valuable exposure and inspiration to refine their skills. It was truly rewarding to witness their dedication to Mithila art while embracing new perspectives.
The workshop not only emphasized technical skills but also fostered their artistic growth. We are excited to see how they incorporate these learnings into their future creations. A heartfelt thank you to Manis Joshi and Inela for their invaluable contributions in facilitating these sessions.

Additionally, we had an incredible experience facilitating the Mithila Art & Embroidery Workshop at SAATH as part of the SAISA Art Festival hosted by Lincoln School Nepal. Mithila artists from Janakpur traveled to Kathmandu to lead the Mithila Art workshop, which was a major highlight for us. The Mithila Art and Embroidery Trainers conducted a half-day workshop for 24 participants.

|
With 24 international students and faculty members, we spent five immersive hours exploring the vibrant world of Mithila art and the intricate craftsmanship of embroidery. It was truly inspiring to see students engage deeply in the workshop, adding their own creative expressions to the art form.
We are grateful to Lincoln School Nepal and SAISA for this wonderful opportunity.

The Mithila Artists attended an exhibition showcasing the artwork of both the students and the artists who traveled from Janakpur. Their creations were displayed at the Museum of Nepali Arts (MONA) at KGH. It was surreal to see both our personal creations and the artwork crafted by the students on display.

Our Master Tailor, Embroidery, and Mithila Art training is going strong, focusing on hands-on skill development. With 27 dedicated participants, we are encouraging creativity, craftsmanship, and socio- economic development.
