AWASAR

We visited Dhanusadham for the video documentation of our work and M&E this month. During the visit, we documented the videos entailing the stories of our past and present beneficiaries and conversed with them about their challenges and resilience.

Similarly, we conducted two-day long training in SRHR for the beneficiaries of Batch D on topics such as Abortion, Maternal health and rights, gender-based violence, consent, gender equality, family planning, STIs, and discrimination-related SRHR.

HAKUNA MATATA

Capacity-building

We organized a workshop on empathy and self-reflection this month. The sessions were activity-based which allowed children to actively participate and engage. In addition to the primary skill, the workshop incorporated components of analysis, reflection, and critical thinking.

Parahu

The facilitators of Parahu Learning Center were provided with the training on Public speaking and workshop facilitation skills to conduct the capacity-building workshop for the children of Parahu Learning Center. We also conducted a stationery drive for the children this month.

We also conducted Home Visits to the children of Hakuna Matata and engaged with their families and environment. It provided us with the perfect opportunity to establish strong, positive communication between our project team, beneficiaries, and their family
