My journey with SAATH goes back to 2018 when I was interning in Program Hakuna Matata. I still remember the day when I was asked to take a non-formal education class for the women in Program Awasar. It was just by coincidence that I was introduced to the activity of a non-formal education class but I never knew that one particular class that I took will foster and change my life forever! Since then let’s say the rest is history. I started as an intern, explored my interest in education as the education coordinator, and then went on to become the program associate as well.
SAATH has been an impetus to not only my professional but personal growth! I feel like I graduated one tenure of my life from experiencing numerous moments with the team, women and children of the program. Resilience who was my well known enemy became my long lost best friend in these years at SAATH. I have learnt to lead, participate, learn and never give up. What I am taking from SAATH to my future is my seed of success which will fruit in due time with my other endeavors.
A huge hug to all who have been a part of our family, the SAATH family.
