The experience of being a volunteer at SAATH has become a unique part of my life with sense of support, comfort, understanding and respect. I was fortunate enough ti have worked with numerous people who are the best at what they do. Knowing that I made a positive impact on someone’s life even for a brief moment is an emotionally enriching experience that cannot be matched by any other. This organization facilitates a pleasant and growth-oriented environment for those who are interested in.

Elisha Hunter:
My time with SAATH was nothing short of eye-opening and amazing. I spent three months living and volunteering in Kathmandu with SAATH. Over this time I had the pleasure of aiding in organizing several small events fundraising for a SAATH summer camp experience. Through SAATH and Danfe I had the pleasure of meeting some of the most inspirational social minded people who wholeheartedly strive to inspire and help others in every action they accomplish. I learned so much about the impacts of social work as well as the country of Nepal itself. I thank SAATH for making my experience in Nepal some of the most important and memorable months of my life.

It has touched me to see how the team of SAATH put their heart and soul into supporting children with HIV and AIDS in Nepal. I volunteered for SAATH for two months and it was a wonderful experience which I carry with me every day.

SAATH is not the typical multinational NGO lacking local knowledge, but SAATH is founded and run by locals who are embedded in the society in which they are working and so they are good at judging strategies. This is something very important to consider as a foreign volunteer, and there are so many advantages of chosing a local NGO as SAATH.

The SAATH team are really knowledgeable and passionate, and their enthusiasm for improving the lives of those who need it the most is so inspirational. The team were a huge support for me not just as a volunteer but also as a friend. I have only good things to say about SAATH as an organisation, the team and their work, and I would recommend anyone to join them as a volunteer.
